Nominations are submitted from directors of teams for selection by the All-American Team Committee. The All-American Team Committee may also submit a dancer's name. Selection is determined by the dancer's Leadership, Clogging Skills, Enthusiasm and Team Spirit. There are only 24 selected each year. They must be present at the ACHF Dance-Off in Maggie Valley held in October to receive this honor.
